Scenic Rim produce is the star of the new Homage Restaurant at Spicers Hidden Vale.
Head Chef Ash Martin makes regular farm visits to collect super-fresh produce direct from the producers. In this video he visits Tarome Freshwater Crayfish farmer Rob Hutchings and Fassifern Valley Produce heirloom tomato farmer Matt Muller.
Homage is a new concept in dining and is a 12-month labour of love for Ash. Set within a historic homestead on a 12,000-acre property, this exciting new restaurant at Grandchester offers a unique dining experience. As the name suggests, the menu pays due respect to the land, local farmers and to the produce.
To do this, Ash and his team design menus inspired by the local produce they hand select daily.
This is dining in its purest form.
